“Hartford Riverfront - Wickham Park from Chapel 2”
Ride Starts at 9:00 AM at the Korean Presbyterian Church, 297 Chapel Rd, Manchester, CT. Slow-paced ride with lots of river views. From South Windsor to the CT Riverbank, the ride will slip through the highway chaos of East Hartford to explore both sides of the CT River on paved walking trails and return via the Pratt& Whitney Campus and the East Coast Greenway to explore Wickham Park. This ride is not for speed but for the scenery. Due to the complexity of the pathways near the CT River and through Pratt & Whitney this ride is best enjoyed by staying with the leader. (For reference- approximately 300 yards from Copper Hill Golf Club at 20 Copper Hill Road.) We will travel south on the flat paved trail to the Bridge of Flowers in Simsbury, CT. 22 miles total.
